Colourful Diwali

Colourful and Bright Diwali,

That Spreads happiness everywhere,

Children Springing with crackers,

Up down and everywhere,

Rockets flying high in the sky,

Rockets giggling sh!sh!sh!

Children wearing new clothes

And eating yummy sweets made by Mummy,

The best fun of all is togetherness and bursting crackers,

Some crackers chirp like birds,

Some spring like a top,

Some bursts like a lightning sound,

Some make loud noise,

Which brings lot of joy,

But for elders, they insist on celebrating Green Diwali,

Will try at least next year I will keep your words in my mind,

And celebrate Green Diwali,

Diyas and brightness everywhere,

Let the world be illuminated with this light always.
