Close Your Eyes Now My Dear

Close Your Eyes Now My Dear

3 mins 7.6K 3 mins 7.6K

All the pain will go away,

My dear, just close your eyes,

The world is too dark to be changed,

You were strong, you were brave,

You were innocent my dear.

I wish I was there,

When you screamed my name,

In fear and shame,

My dear, just close your eyes,

It was not your mistake.

You were brave,

You were mine,

But I just wish that I was there,

To hold your little hands tight,

When you screamed my name.

My dear you were my angel,

It wasn’t your fault, trust me,

The world is too dark to be changed,

And the end is near.

I wonder how they sleep,

After ripping your flesh apart,

My dear it kills my heart,

To see you in the dark,

Lonely and scared.

Oh my dear,

You were strong and you were brave,

But I wish I was there,

When you begged and screamed my name,

In hope of finding some humanity in despair,

But my dear,

The world is too dark to be changed and the end is near,

So close your eyes now my dear.

They killed you a hundred times,

And ripped your soul apart,

Your flesh was eaten and torn,

And your little heart shattered,

But no one cares,

My dear,

So just close your eyes,

And rest in peace.

I wish I could have pressed you to my chest,

When you were searching for your mistake,

Alone in the dark with men with expressions,

That you couldn’t understand,

When they told you things,

That felt dirty,

But you never understood what they meant!

Whom you begged for mercy,

Because you were innocent, my dear.

They ripped apart everything,

That was inside of you my dear,

And you kept bleeding night and day,

And they played in your blood,

All the pain ate you up from inside,

And they ate your flesh from outside,

Piece by piece.

You never got to decide,

What became of you dear,

You were never given a choice,

When your skin was torn apart,

And you were turned inside out,

Nobody asked you what you wanted.

I know you missed my lullaby a lot dear,

For the nights were too long and haunting,

And you couldn’t sleep on the cold, hard concrete,

I wished I were there for you my dear.

I know you must have prayed,

To any God that was there,

To hear your voice and screams,

But my dear, God is dead,

We killed him with hate,

This world is too dark to be changed,

And the end is so near.

I wish I could see you running around,

In the fields with your hair dancing,

Above your head like a crown,

I wish your laughter could again fill the void,

In my life,

I wish I could hold your little hands,

And feel the pure love and innocence,

That those devils ripped apart,

My dear, I wish I could kiss your head with love,

I wish I could sing you songs of fairytales,

To make you forget the truth of this world.

My dear, up above if you find God,

I know he is disappointed with us all,

For we divided him with hate,

And no matter how hard we may try,

The end is so near,

God must be crying with you in his hands,

As we fight to prove his worth,

So tell him there’s no hope here now.

All the pain will go away,

My dear just close your eyes,

The world is too dark to be changed,

You were strong, you were brave,

You were innocent my dear,

But our hate destines us to kill each other.

The world is too dark and selfish to be changed,

And the end is so near,

So just like everyone else,

Close your eyes now my dear.
