Cigarettes
Cigarettes
{Of freshly smoked cigarettes}
I kept on staring at them
I found those ashes alike me
There was so much of
Jangles and quarrels
Inside the bud of that cigarette
And inside me as well
That I ought to calm down
Like the way I smoke
And find those silences
That just my words give me
No matter how much I listen to Sufi songs
And dance in harmony
Along with them
But ultimately
I'll find that serenity inside me
Where will I be in a state of equilibrium?
