Candle Light
Candle Light
As I watch the candlelight,
I observe patterns of women,
Singing lullabies for their infants.
As I watch the candlelight,
I observe the pattern of souls,
Dancing in dismay,
For death visited them,
At an early hour.
As I watch the beetles,
Flying around the candlelight,
My mind warns me of nature's rule,
That everything must end,
Slowly or rapidly.
