The Night
The Night
I hear the bells ringing
In rhythm with the wind swirls
My mind murmurs
Quiet, quiet, quiet!
Do not wake the birds up
Which rest in their nests
After a bird's toil
Do not wake the gentle souls
Who lie under the graves
Do not wake the infants
Who sleep on their mother's lap
Let them rest
Let them rest till the night fades
And the day breaks out
Let them feel
The beauty of darkness
Night is calm
Night is quiet
Like the slumber of a poet
In his world of imagination
Do not break it's nature
It will depart quickly and quietly
