This is like a dream

I am scared to wake up,

To a reality,

Where you might not be next me

Is this true?

Are you really mine?

You are so beautiful,

That I feel it might be untrue

Like a butterfly,

You are elegant and graceful,

But I know that holding you too tight,

Will break you

But I am scared

That when I'm not looking

You will fly away

To some place better

Can I trust you

To return beside me

Can I hope that

You'll be my one and only?

I want to beg you stay,

But a butterfly can't be caged,
