Broken Wings

I left all my broken pieces behind

And started to move forward

Faraway from the mankind

Now I can't take more hard

With injuries, I gathered courage and started

Slowly I could feel that they are healing

One day I will have strong wings, I said

Got convinced and never stopping

In the quest of getting stronger

I discovered the new me inside

As the journey prolonged longer

Fear faded which used to hide

Not crying for the lost feathers

Was the best thing I did

Otherwise, I would never be better

And would be always stuck
