I went to my bed filling up my tummy

There went another of my age starving.

God I'm blessed.

I undid my specs, placed it on the table and went asleep

Someone there spent sleepless nights with tear laden eyes.

God I'm blessed.

I'm having too many clothes and complain for ironing

Someone there washes the same shirt daily for the next day.

God I'm blessed.

Though my purse is half-filled my heart & mind is happy and healthy

Someone there, with filled wallet is roaming with no peace of mind.

God I'm blessed.

I'm not leading a happy and contented life. But still, thank you God for I'm truly blessed.
