Birds
Birds

We don't see them
But they are there,
Hidden in the depths of our garden
On the top of trees.
A beautiful small nest
Made with love and twigs,
For someone new in this world
Who will face our ignorance?
They wake us up at dawn
Singing their peaceful song.
On seeing them in the sky
A smile creeps on our faces.
Collecting food the whole day long,
For their young ones waiting for quitely.
They work with all their mig
ht
Returning back only at night.
We still cut the trees,
Destroy the grasslands,
Build cell towers everywhere,
Whose radiation harm them.
Where will they build their nest?
From where will they gather food?
Their brains are damaged within their eggs,
How will they survive our world?
Do we really want them gone?
Vanish like they weren't there.
Who will care and sing for us,
If we are not concerned for these birds.
