Beyond The Pain
Beyond The Pain
🌟 “The Girl Who Remembered Her Wings” — Winning Poem 🌟
She wasn’t born brave—
she became brave
every time the world tried to dim her light
and she guarded it anyway.
People saw her smile
but never the storms
she hid gently behind her eyes,
storms she learned to calm
with nothing but hope
and her own trembling hands.
She carried pain
the way some people carry memories—
softly,
carefully,
knowing it shaped her
but refusing to let it define her.
And though life bent her
in ways she never deserved,
she rose in ways
no one ever expected.
Because strength isn’t loud—
sometimes it is a quiet step forward
when the heart feels heavy.
And courage isn’t fire—
sometimes it is a whisper inside saying,
“I will not let this break me.”
She didn’t conquer the world.
She conquered her fear.
She learned to trust her voice.
She remembered her wings.
And that—
that was enough
to turn her story
into a sunrise.
