Barriers

How many barriers are there can't be explained,

To live your life you have to be sorry and feel ashamed,

The customs and traditional translations depend on your surroundings,

A place where you are born is never your choice

But the chains of religious beliefs will never let you raise your voice.

The tremors and terrors are sometimes shaking your soul,

But you have to hide your face and walk slow.

Accept whatever is burdening your shoulders,

Because it is your duty and obligation to limit yourself to the set borders.

If you follow your instincts,

And listen to the shrieks of your heart,

Every time you will find a question raised,

From where are we getting these interpretations,

Which explains different meanings of freedom and limitations.

Why are we not living the way we want?

The answer is hidden somewhere in our own thoughts,

This world was not made for the disaster which we have brought,

Any God you pray, or religion you follow,

It never asks you to kill others or send them to gallows.

Blind beliefs and superstitious thoughts,

Is ruining the development and growth of the generations,

Happiness is not only in the accustomed beliefs.

Be the change and break the barriers,

Raise your voice and respect silence of others,

Laughing alone makes you insane,

You can only enjoy when you laugh with others 

And let them also live and acclaim.
