Barrier

Dozens of wishes,

Umpteen dreams,

Ambitious goals,

High hopes!

Everything unfulfilled,

Empty promise to myself, dream getting killed.

Self doubt was a fear carrier,

Between me and my goals was the barrier.

I decided to cross the inevitable bridge of uncertainty,

From here to infinity, now to eternity.

I see and realise my path now with clarity,

With defined intermediate stops along the way on priority.

I fall out of the trap of comparison

Stopped judging about perfectionism

Do not care, what people think of me,

Do not care, what if I fail here

I look at the mirror,

I have started seeing myself own,

Fearless and unstoppable me

Unapologetic soul!

When it comes to dreams,

I am the last line of defense
