Awfully Together
Awfully Together
Brick and mortar
Do not make a home
Living together
Is not always love.
It is crystal like clear
Rose will not grow
Under the blanket cover
In the freezing cold winter.
In the closeted labyrinth
We stay awfully together
Packed tightly away
Oblivious to the faces we wear.
From the cracks of the windows
Look to the moon so silver
Only to find dark patches
Shining on the luminous sphere.
Loneliness is a land
So barren and infertile
The Sun is seen hardly ever
The flower will never blossom.
