Abstract Fantasy Others

Aquarium

Aquarium

1 min
364

Drinking water to breathe

You drown for a minute,

With anger you seethe;

Chairs full, wrong theatre

Dance like you are

A fish out of water.

Men inside play "Kill" with gravel

It was meant to make them feel well

The grass outside, so green, so lush

You say "grass," they say back "hush"

Blood of truth is what they cater

But it's you, the fish out of water.

The Aquarium is your illusion

Men float inside and think of air

Either scared or making fun

And you believe it isn't fair

They call you "airhead"

That is what you most dread

In this aquarium, you are born to drown

You know, but what to do?

You drown like others but you know you do...

Your "fantasy" of air will never matter

Since you are, but a fish out of water.
