Don't admire your face

Gift your eyes a gaze

What is that thing, that

Reflects there a million times?

Did you see it, it shone!

Just for once, and then it's gone

Why do you hide it so?

Your heart isn't a grave

Don't bury the feelings you crave.

They will simply be preserved,

And hurt you always.

Look at the mirror and

Dig it out from the land

Face it, feel it, and confront it

Feel the warmth of emotions that roll down your cheeks.

Now give your eyes another gaze

The pain is settled,

Dealt with and felt.

The shine this time is just a daze.
