Fear
Fear
Do not frown at me, my dear fear,
For no longer you can enshroud me or tear.
What a long companionship we have had,
I don't say at all, that you are bad.
I cultivated you with all my heart,
And yet many a time you left me aghast.
But whenever I have conquered you
A great dawn of success has peeped through.
Fear, oh fear, I thought you know no fear
But anyone can defeat you, oh dear!
No matter what, you relentlessly chase people,
But my submission to you is now conditional.
So do not scare me, my dear fear
I cease to be your slave, is that clear?
