Another Day
Another Day
The sun rose from the horizon,
the ocean looked like a one eyed person.
Another beautiful day awoke me with grace,
with the chirping alarm I couldn't snooze.
I stood up expecting this to be my day,
for it began brilliantly that I can't even say.
I sensed a mood of caution in the wind,
out of blue it dove head first into the ground.
Expectations hurt the most,
and I was burnt like my toast.
I took the wrong road in my daily route,
and got shouted at by a person very stout.
Someone very dear stabbed me at my back,
he only made sure it can't get more dark.
But it did.
I have this for a test then,
but only I didn't learn the lesson.
I gave a damn even when I knew not to,
I bit the sand in this same before too.
Somewhere middle along the way,
I pulled up my shit together in hay,
I knew what I should never again say,
The sun rose again with the golden ray.
