Aliens

We do not know about their existence,

We have never seen their countenance,

There are mysteries about them living in space,

But they remain unsolved to date.

We do not know if they are a friend,

Or an enemy to mankind,

If they will accept our world,

Or destroy it for their good.

We too are aliens in our society,

Not everyone is friendly,

Some respect unity,

While others indulge in terror activity.

Some are neglected by all,

They are forced into the dark shadows of fall,

It is a world where stepping out is a tough call, 

We need to break this barrier between big and small. 

There is no place for trust,

There is always a fear in the heart,

We never know who is bad and who can hurt,

And who is good and smart?

In reality, we are aliens ourselves,

In a society where we do not stand as one,

There is no hope for progress,

But only scope for distress, 

For the sake of a better future,

Let's not be aliens to each other, 

Let's embrace and come together!
