Adulting

Chocolates cakes balloons and chips, dancing and having fun with our friends.

This doesn't seem like a fairytale dream anymore, maybe we're finally on the other side of the end.

Those carefree thoughts and playing all day, the energy would never let us sleep.

Our minds make us tired now but we can't sleep without making our eyes weep.

Tears would come out to showcase our pain, now I don't know why they're here.

Hurting in silence has become a routine, pouring our hearts out would make it tear.

Who knew what the opinions of others were? Weren't we just happy in our own little world? 

Now I think twice before doing anything,  our beautiful lives have just twirled.

How I wish we never changed and let our happiness be intact.

But if adulting would have been easier, growing up wouldn't have been a fact.
