Abandoned

Thousands passed, They failed to aid,

Out of them, No one dared to upbraid.

Now all is battered and frayed,

No one was found, Not even one stayed.

Upon his life his desperate mind laid,

But life works and had him played.

Though in crown and sword wondrously arrayed,

Everyone had left him betrayed.
