Darkness

I'm in the corner of my room,

"The darkness hates me." I assume.

Silent sounds of the winds howling outside,

And noises of the breaking glass inside.

Whispers of the darkness,

Is it really this heartless?

I kept on hearing scary sounds,

Making me fall into the ground.

Tightly covered my ears,

Thinking this would help me forget my fears.

I kept on shaking,

As I repeat what I am asking.

"Darkness, Leave me alone."
