A minute of silence
The nurse opens the door
Carrying me in hand.
She whispers to my father
"Congrats, it's a girl"
People all around turns to him,
A drop of tears falls on me.
He takes me in hand
And places in heart.
He turns to the people
And says "She's not just
A girl but also a star."
Suddenly a strong power
Gets into to me.
He smiled at me and
That smile changed me.
After the whole day work
He comes home.
He opens the door and
Runs to the bedroom
To see me.
He sees me sleeping
Sits near me and wipes his hand on my head.
He is who supports me,
Who encourages me,
Who relaxes me.
He who has changed me,
Who worked for me and
Who lives for me.
He is my hero
My Dad.
