Unknown Bond

            

There is an unknown bond between you and me,

Every word of yours touches my heart.

Our relationship is like a cordless phone….

The way we charge the phone,

In the same way I get charged by reading your books.

 you are an inspiration to me…...

 I've never met you but it's like, 

I've known you for ages.

When I turn the pages,

It seems as if  every moment of my life is turning.

Sometimes you make me happy with your words, 

Sometimes you thrill me, 

Sometimes you even scare me, Sometimes there is so much suspense, 

That I keep on reading and eager to read further.

You explain everything with your own words,

What I want to experience in my life.

 

Books are the most priceless things in our life….

And the words written in it are its heritage, 

Our book is always full of knowledge.

Be it any turn of life, 

Life always teaches us something or the other.

As much as this life takes from us,

And gives us  also the same.

But when everyone leaves me,

Then my best friend, my book is always with me.

Who doesn't expect anything from me like people.

Day and night whenever I spend my time with it,

It only understands me and never asks me any question, 

It is my best companion.

Life is the account of good and bad circumstances,

Every day a new page is added to it.

It is called the book of life,

Where every  moment a new story is ready to find its end.

In times of sorrow, 

Many people look for the path of happiness.

Sometimes the trouble of strong sunlight,

Burns a fire of pain in the chest.

The cycle of compulsions continues in everyone's path,

Some characters are also included in each story.

Sometimes understand us and sometimes test us a lot.

Sometimes they become ours, 

Sometimes they hurt us too.

Whenever I turn the pages one by one,

Now I test every story too much.

This book is mine and every color scattered in it is also mine

Though some dreams have died,

But the desire to make them alive is still a thought.

But the pages are still empty,

Life no matter how sad you made me,

Now it's my turn to fill my heart with colors.

The ink of my pen is not over yet,

I will continue to write till the last page.

I can see the reflection of mine in all  its characters.
