A Real Hero

There are many that we find

Since we were a little child

Glued to screen we would be

Watching them and their deeds.

We all wanted to have one 

In our life

Who could save us from trouble 

Help us and for us fight.

But as we grew we came to know

They are even found in real life.

Some just help us grow, 

We call them Dad or Mom

Who do so much, yet, 

Their sacrifice we never know.

Some do deeds for strangers

Giving up what they earned

No pomp or show.

Only a concern.

Some leave their family just for you

Alert and on vigil

Just for you.

They stay away, they give up their life

Living in reality a honourable life.

There are so many heroes 

That we see

As we all live and grow.

There is a one within you

Try and discover if you can

It always does not need a man

There is a hero inside each one of you.

the real hero

Only if you did understand.
