My heart skipped a bit, since your first glimpse;

You took my breath away when your twinkling eyes blink.

 

How mesmerising is your chuckle like some music’s cadence;

Myriad dreams in those eyes taught me the connotation of patience.

 

Once a jaunty woman who did not take cramp to bother;

Your first-ever touch suddenly made me a doting mother.

 

Life is short and ahead are de-trop complications;

Do not you fear my little one, be gallant to battle against conspirations.

 

Be kind and have courage, stick to your values true;

I promise my darling no matter what, I will be there for you.
