Good Morning

Good Morning

Here I sit each morning,

Holding our memories in life

Trying to drink my morning tea and feeling oh, so sad.

‘Cause I miss you so much.

Ever since you’ve been gone,

I fight the pain of having to go on

Without you in my life.

So I talk to your picture every time

I get to feeling so lonely and so blue

And I say to you,

“Good morning, beautiful.

Do you know you are my angel?

You breathe new life into this fire burning within

And make me feel as though I can love again.

Good morning, beautiful.”

Now here I stand on this boulevard of broken dreams.

I’m here without you in my lovin’ arms.

I’m just so lonely it seems.

Because through this madness of my life,

I’ve managed to lose

The one thing that has kept my heart alive

And that one thing was you, my beautiful angel,

And I say to you,

“Good morning, beautiful.

Do you know you are my angel?

You breathe new life into this fire burning within

And make me feel as though I can love again.

Good morning, beautiful.”

But here I am without you

Feeling so sad and oh, so blue.

I miss those beautiful eyes

And that million-watt smile

That lights up as I walk through those doors.

Now I’m just sitting here alone,

Holding in my trembling hands,

My broken heart and my broken dreams

With no loving’ arms to hold me

And I say to you,

“Good morning, beautiful.

Do you know you are my angel?

And now here I am without you,

How could life be so cruel?

Good morning, beautiful.

Do you know you are my angel?

You breathe new life into this fire still burning within

And make me feel as though I can love again.

Good morning, beautiful.

Good morning, beautiful.

You are my angel.

Good morning, beautiful."
