Forged Hearts
Forged Hearts
Those childhood jokes are funnier,
Then most of the Comedy shows, I visit,
It was easy to put a to ego wars,
With sharing of peppermints,
Where are those friendships,
When I look back,
A simple smile from a friend can make my day,
In these busiest lives, we created,
Where is the real intimacy,
Squeezed by the traffic on busy roads,
I feel those childhood friendships,
Fighting for kites,
Counting the crackers,
Feeling every star is there for us,
In the millennial generation,
Friendship is getting limited to only WhatsApp status,
Are our hearts were forged,
As we grow older and distant?
