A Haunted Washing Machine
A Haunted Washing Machine
In the laundry room, late at night,
A haunted washing machine gave me a fright,
It started spinning without any clothes,
And made a sound that chilled my toes.
I checked the buttons and turned it off,
But soon enough it was back on and scoffed,
It laughed and rumbled, shook and spat,
And I swear it even wore a hat.
I tried to run, but my feet were glued,
I was trapped there, with the washing machine being rude,
It taunted me with its ghostly glow,
And I knew I was in for a long, scary show.
The socks and shirts and underwear too,
All danced and twirled like a frightening crew,
They swirled and spun around the room,
And I knew I was facing my doom.
But then I saw something out of place,
A sock with a smile on its face,
It hopped towards me and whispered low,
"Don't worry friend, it's just a show!"
And with that, the washing machine stopped,
The clothes fell still and the laughter dropped,
The ghostly glow faded away,
And I was left with a calm and peaceful sway.
So if you ever find yourself in that room,
And the washing machine starts to loom,
Just remember, it's just a silly prank,
And you can laugh it off with a smile and a crank.
