The Road to Love

The Road to Love

Love isn't a road that runs so straight,

It bends and twists, a dance with fate.

A whispered name in twilight's glow,

A fleeting glance, a spark to grow.

Through Udaipur’s golden streams,

We met like echoes lost in dreams.

A book fell down, your hand in mine,

A moment brief, yet so divine.

But fate had plans to pull apart,

To test the strength of longing hearts.

In Jaipur’s fort, I saw you there,

Yet silence froze my love, my prayer.

Through Varanasi’s sacred shore,

I found you once, then lost no more.

The Ganges hummed our unsaid vows,

Love returned, no why, no hows.

The road was rough, the miles were long,

Yet through each twist, we stayed strong.

For love is not a line so clear,

But a winding path that led me here.

Beneath the rains of Marine Drive,

I found my heart, I found my life.

And as I knelt, with love so true,

You said, “Forever, I choose you.”

So let the journey twist and turn,

Through fire’s heat, through waters churn.

For love’s not straight, nor ever planned,

It’s walking blind, yet hand in hand.
