A Haunted Night

A Haunted Night

I saw a shadow passing by

It was very cunning and sly

I decided to follow

But then, I was filled with sorrow

It led to the graveyard

Which was very cold and damp

And I wished and wished and wished

I do not see a vamp

It led to a panther’s grave

And clapped and whistled and snarled

And before my eyes jumped out a bloody vamp

They went to a women’s grave

And to my horror pounced out a ghost

And soon they were eating a banshee’s toast

Just as I took a step back

Out jumped a bony skeleton

I ran and ran and ran and ran

Till I reached home

And what a surprise!

I met a murderous bone
