A Gift To Cherish

Traversing through life's unscripted play,

I met a few people along my way.

Many left, as paths do part,

But a few occupied a special place in my heart.

With a pinch of jokes anabolic,

And a healthy dollop of fun and frolic,

The feeling of togetherness never ran dry,

But grew stronger as the time went by.

Like the soothing dawn after a harrowing night,

Or the sincere apologies after a fight,

The conversations always provided a sense of relief,

Helping me to rebuild the shattered beliefs.

Life is about these little moments of joy,

Where your companion both soothe and annoy.

I thank you all who are on this trip,
