A Fair Game
A Fair Game
One evening as true as sunset
During my mind calming and breath cleaning session
Amid the chaos of unstoppable speculations
Sprung a thought that kept hovering for long.
Long stuck in numbness it took a while
To immerse in the vague thought
That filled bit by bit and eventually
Ventured into every cell of my being.
Just as chaos, that showed up no matter what
Carried out the business with enviable efficiency
This too, did its fair share of trade
But with a difference, small yet significant.
Freeing me from stunting life
Pulling me out of my comforting bliss
Of my ignorant self, of my limited thoughts
Out into an unseen dimension.
Pushed me to put my best foot forward
Nudged me to work out on the nitty-gritty
Walked me out with a spring in my step
Filled me with gossamer hopes.
Events sewed up splendidly
Got me picking up myself, walked me
Landing me on to my dreamland
Life sought no permission to happen.
