Rhythm Of Life
Rhythm Of Life
Caged in a cageless cage
Life reckoning and beckoning
Eventful, uncomplicated and happening
Reining reins to my tunes.
Sand, stone, rain, and breeze
All so alive and anticipative
Spring, all sweet out there
At times chilly, sour and bitter too.
Living a cavalier life
Following unquestioningly the rhythm
That lay on the platter
Gifting the world to myself.
But, when, what and how
I slumped into the state of torpor
Obstinate to break open
And accept that I had missed a battle.
A hollow self, living life absently
Aspiration, passion, and purpose missing
Life is nothing but a commitment
That holds no meaning anymore.
