Sonata Of Solace

When the world goes quiet, seeking solace after a day's clamor, 

There arises a silver orb serenading sky in glamour.

Showering softly on the lonely planet, its soothing tender light,

Sailing from heaven hailing festive spirit till dawn replaces night. 

Moonstruck by her own celestial grandeur in pond, river, and ocean,

Waltzes in bliss high above, drunk on dew's love potion. 

Revealing vault of heaven's wispy streamers studded with nine gems,  

Millions of glittering stars with which the huge rondure hems. 

Silhouetting nature against the night sky glows mellow like a bride, 

Reigning over our mood swings along with the ocean's tide. 

Leaning over pine cones, glistening its glint onto blades of grass,

Elysian luminescence wooing all denizens, flora fauna en masse. 

Guiding the lone traveler in darkness through life's twists and turns,

Wrapped in breeze and dewy mist, a chill milieu it churns.

Flooding the beach, moon-rays surf as waves fall and rise, 

Orchestrated by its ethereal essence up above in skies. 

Sensuous Selena smiles at lovers drenching in velvety moonlight,

Propels many a dreamy bard on a poesy of romantical flight.

Moon echoes in fading night in a sheen of silence flawless,  

Eyelids slide into the arms of Morpheus, soothed by Soprano's sonata of solace.
