Why we lie?

Actually something we lie to ourselves.

Sometimes we think the situation should be different so that it should not be like it is. We wanted to change something. We wanted to change meaning of the story. We wanted things to go according to our perspective. 

We need to see things going according to our imagination.  We suppose that what happened was not right and start thinking what if this would happened in this way? Why this was like it is and not like that? Then we started imagination this is the reason. This is the cause and We keep imagination going on, which leads to unrealistic thoughts, ideas, conclusions, etc. 

When we were children, we see super hero movies and start imagining as super hero or as someone around him. We continue to think and that thought becomes our actions. Our actions becomes our behaviour and our behaviour becomes our character. This is the whole chain. Some people are short tempered, some are cool minded, some are dangerous and some are simple. 

We can say all this is because of the movies we watch, the shows we see, the books we read, things happen to us, around us, etc. If someone scolded us then we imagine that we are arguing with him or fighting with him and that becomes reality someday. That is where We need to control our mind. Here is the place we need to decide what's gonna be right and what gonna be wrong. 

The only thing we need to do is to control our thoughts that is not possible. So we can do is we can change out thought. Replace the memory with something good that makes you happy.

Sometimes it's good to lie if we lie with ourselves.
