I Woke Up

I woke up.

It's blank.

I was cold.

I felt a sharp gaze.

I slightly tilted my head to my left, void. Then I turned to the right. I spotted a creature staring at me.

It had no eyes.

I stepped forward, I stumbled.

Something prevented me from falling. I looked up. It was like me. It was alluring. It had long silky hair, black it was. It was smiling at me.

"Who are you" I asked.

"I am your chaperone" It answered.

"My chaperone" I repeated.

It then embraced me. I was warm.

It pulled back and started walking away from me. I was cold. I followed it. It led me to a chamber. It was infinite.

"It is a tesseract" It said.

"A tesseract" I repeated.

It is smiling. It then embraced me. I was warm.

I pulled back and started walking towards the chamber next to us. I saw a creature holding a smaller one with three hands, licking it. They had no eyes.

I looked back at my chaperone.

"It is love" It said.

"Love" I repeated. It smiled.

I turned my head to my left. There are a few creatures smiling at me. I smiled back.

I turned to my right. There are many creatures. My smile faded. They are not smiling. They had no eyes. I looked at my chaperone. It was smiling. It looked up. My eyes followed it. There was a creature inside the chamber above us staring at me. It had no eyes. A sword appeared out of nowhere and the creature was stabbed several times. It was screaming. An unfamiliar liquid started flowing out of the holes in its body. My eyes widened. I looked at my chaperone. It was smiling. I looked back up but the liquid had formed a layer preventing me from examining any further. The screaming had stopped. I averted my gaze to the front but my chaperone was not there. I was scared. My chest was beating rapidly. I didn't move. Silence surrounded me.

All of a sudden, I felt a gentle tap on my right shoulder. I turned back. It was a creature. It was like me but a little different. It had broader shoulders, was taller and its breasts were not bulging out. It's lower body was different too. It smiled at me. I smiled back.

It then intertwined my hands with its own and led me to another chamber. There were many creatures like us. Their bodies were connected. They were moving together.

I stared at them with curiosity.

"It is love" The creature next to me said.

"Love" I repeated questionably.

The word 'love' reminded me of my chaperone. It was not with me. I was cold. I retracted my hand from the creature's hand and ran, passing several chambers behind me. I was greeted with several sharp stares from behind the chambers. I did not budge and kept on running. My chest beating rapidly and my legs on the verge of breaking.

I collapsed on the floor. After catching my breath, I looked up. There stood a creature with a knife in its hand. It approached me. I dragged my worn out body away from it as far as I can. A tear escaped my eye. I was scared. I clenched my eyes waiting for something I was not familiar with.

Something wet came in contact with my face. I didn't feel anything. I opened my eyes only to see my chaperone holding a knife covered in liquid that I was now familiar with smiling at me. I looked in its eyes. They were misty just like me or was it the fault of my teary eyes. I did not know.

I averted my gaze upon a lifeless body next to me covered in the liquid that I hated the most. I looked back up. My chaperone was clutching the knife next to its own neck. It smiled at me. My eyes widened. In no time, it's beautiful body collapsed right in front of me. I was screaming. Tears were no way near to slow down. I felt a sharp pain in my chest. I was losing my sight. My throat was sore. The motion of my chest slowed down. Slowly and slowly I accepted the void. Giving in.

I woke up.

I looked at myself. Something was covering my entire temple.

I was warm.

Something hanging on the wall caught my attention. It was like a glass surface but a little different.

I stepped forward, I stumbled.

I regained my balance.

I approached the glass and examined.

I touched the refection.

It was alluring.

It had long silky hair, black it was.

I paused for a moment.

I smiled at the reflection. It smiled back.

It was my chaperone.

I woke up.
