The Unrecieved Letter

A handwritten letter is one of the best things anyone can receive from their loved ones. It is forever. However, I have never received one.

Dear Daughter,

I don't know if I will be able to see you on your Convocation day. Sadly, I won't be able to become part of so many things in your life. Your marriage, Your success, Your kids and so much more. I am sorry that I am leaving so many unfulfilled tasks, so many responsibilities. You are just 22 and I know you have been forced to grow up. However, I can only thank God to give me a chance to meet you before I depart. Today I just want to tell you one thing, You are a very brave girl, braver than your mother and sister. You will surely handle everything maturely. I will always be there for you, Go do whatever you want freely, live your life on your own terms, travel the world, become a successful writer. Don't let anybody confine you to any shackles. Many people will leave your side, leave you alone, judge you for being what you are but you will always have to keep your head held high and live.

Life is very short and unpredictable. Live it to the fullest. I will pray to God to give me another chance of becoming your father in the next life. I will negotiate with him to give me a little more life then, till then take care.
