True Love

Butterflies in tummy, big moon in the sky, 

Always made me wonder as to what are these and why,

Never got a chance or time to feel any of these,

As in an Arranged Marriage setup just finding my Mr. Right was the key,

With less time in hand, significant facts to know from him, missed the non-important part of understanding, love and affection,

We did have a few dates and lengthy conversations,

But knowing if I am in love or not with him, was out of question.

Destiny has always been a enigmatic mystery,

And when the Cupid decides to release its arrow,

There is no way to escape the bewitchery,

Thanking the almighty, we said to each other "Yes I do"

Swept off my feet, on a flying horse with him I flew.

Friendly dates to candle light dinners, to celebrating wedding anniversaries,

There were days we were totally in awe for each other, yet other days we fought like Tom and Jerry,

Days turned to months, months turned to years.

Laughing together and wiping each others tears,

Smiling through the storms, dancing in the rains,

Knitting beautiful memories through all the joys and pains.

In a rollercoaster ride with steep downs and swinging ups cannot recollect when I have found myself to be in love,

Yes true love marriages are made from up above.
