The Love That Cured

I am not a poet, neither do I know how to play with words but singing to the melody of a special one's love, I have started this chaotic work. 

Love was just a word I had heard years back and I thought love was just an agreement of two bodies to be used by each other, but when I met him I got to know, that it is something dealing with souls.

He never made any promises, because his actions always spoke for him. Though the fear of getting hurt haunted my heart at times, but I knew one couldn't love without the risk of getting hurt. It made my heart strong. His unsaid promise to walk with me was fulfilled the night he asked me if I would make his house our home. On that day, I didn't say a word, but the tears flowing down my cheeks said, "Yes, let's build our home."
