A Good Horror Story

Well, everyone loves a good horror story right? And everyone is also scared of something or the other. So I am here today to share a good horror story with you guys. It's actually taken from a true story which happened with someone I know for sure in real life. So let's not waste any more time and start with the story, it's a rainy night... winds blowing... thunder scattering.... dogs are barking... we are on an empty street... suddenly he hears a sound and he sees a girl walking in her white sari... he calls her but she doesn't reply... he then goes close to her and pats her on her back... she doesn't look back even then... he then goes around her and kaboom... ha ha ha ha... No guys it's not a cliche horror story which I am gonna tell you today. I am gonna tell about a horror story which I believe everyone is scared of.

So tell me something, how many of you really love doing whatever you are doing now? How many of you wanted to do something else in life but couldn't do it because of some pressure? How many of you still want to do something else but cannot as you are already in the grind? Yes, my friend I am talking to you... yeah you...don't look around... don't look back... I know you are the one and you are there... You are scared about it but you cannot do anything. How many of you wake up every day in the morning and think why I have to go to the office ? Why I cannot sit back at home... relax... have a coffee... cook something... a good lunch with family... a movie day out... a party night... get sloshed... why? Because... we are all scared... we are scared that we will fall off the competition... since birth... our parents say, "Baba 10th pass kore ne and then you are free, 12th pass kore ne then you are free, graduation ta kor then you are definitely free... Masters ta korte parle bhalo nahole get a good job, then you are free you can enjoy... get married then you have a lifetime to enjoy... get kids then you are totally free... who has stopped you... enjoy... then another kid... then their school... their college... their marriage... and by then beyond your understanding you are in your 60's. Yeah, I am sure you can enjoy it then... You can definitely do a bungee jumping, paragliding, river rafting, learn how to play guitar...start writing a story... isn't it...?? Can't you...?? The answer is no, you cannot... maybe someone will say yes, we can... but the truth is doing those things in your 20's or 30's or even 40's are different than trying them in your 60's. Now you can call me a pessimist or a sadist but that's the truth, my friend.

At the end of the day, we are all scared to do something different or do what we love or want to do in our life. We tend to fall on the line and go with the flow, thinking of quitting your job and following your passion is a horror story for us, people who can do it are lucky... God bless them... but who aren't that lucky... ?? What about them...??

This is a story for all those who think this every morning when they are alone in the bathroom, or after a few pegs down, before going to bed or maybe when people say: "dude, what are you doing in this corporate world? You should be somewhere else... doing something else... doing something which you are not fair or good of but something which you know you would do best, something which you love..." I am sure everyone who is reading this can relate to someone they know or may be known in their life.

For all of them who are scared and this horror story is known to them... I want to shout out... please give it a try.. you might fail... but just think if you don't... and it doesn't matter if you fail... keep trying... at least you know you would love it... and you are not scared of it... let the scare be with all those rainy days... and white sarees...

Let us do it... take a deep breath... and say yes, let's try... let's not be scared anymore... we can do it... we will not miss out the fun... we will enjoy and live our life doing what we love... if we fail at least we would know that we tried... No one is keeping a tab on you... No one is watching if you are first... second... slow... fast... strong...weak... just one time maybe...
