Mud Or Stars

I lose my vision 

In a chemical explosion

I am down in dumps

I wallow in misery

I resort to beggary

I twist the facts

I play the victim card

I play on people's hearts

My pessimism does not let me rise

I remain in mud

I am glass half empty

I am stuck at the lowest rung

I bounce back

I struggle I stumble

I flounder I fumble

I aspire for stars

My perseverance pays off

I touch pinnacles of success

I reach the highest rung

I paint the sky blue with my positivism
