Mother Earth Unmasks Herself

Mercy she begged from human atrocities

Atrocities he perpetrated on her progeny

Progeny of flora fauna multitudinous life

Life that in habitats rejoiced and thrived

Thrived in absence of human interference

Interference that upset beauty of balance

Balance so very vital to retain her health

Health that deteriorated 'coz of stealth

Stealth snatched away her dignity modesty

Modesty when desecrated dignity vandalized

Vandalized she unleashed a fury of pandemic

Pandemic that has reckless man penalized

Penalized for vanquishing desecrating Nature 

Nature that today stands healed and unmasked   

Unmasked and sending loud and clear signals

Signals that in balance lies man's salvation

Salvation from disease malignance affliction

Affliction that has left him dazed and masked

Masked and mauled he fights global emergency

Emergency plagued he pleads today for mercy
