Adorable Animals

Once in a while it happens so,

You see an animal across the road.

All of a sudden it touches your heart,

You bring it home and give it a new start.

Tiny and cute they become our family,

As if it was written in our destiny.

Slowly but surely we struggle and learn,

What they dislike and what they yearn.

As days go by they become inseparable,

The happiness they bring is immeasurable.

After a tiring day or when the day starts,

They seek us in a way that touches our heart.

As we feel life's joy and pain,

They too feel it just the same.

Pets come in all shapes and size,

They look at you with adorable eyes.

It can be a dog, a cat or a bird,

A monkey, a turtle or even something unheard.

Pets are truly wonderful creatures,

They are easily our best gift from nature.
