The Tick Tock
The Tick Tock
But isn't this the man
Whose blundering wheels
Snuffed out my wife's life?
The dilemma was huge
Mind in sway
The clock ticking away
In nano-seconds
The man was counting his last breaths
The thread of his life hanging precariously
From fatal collision
The sole bread winner of aging parents
Counting on some divine intervention
But how can I show magnanimity?
You can't either kill innate humanity!
But he took away my wife's life
Only YOU can gift him new life!
But how can I condone his behavior?
God has chosen you as savior!
But I am a human, not a saint
Time is running out don't grow faint!
Two pairs of old wrinkled hands
Clutched mine
Two pairs of teary flooded eyes
Watched me with deep gratitude
Rarest drops of AB negative blood
From a forgiving soul
Trickling injecting infusing new life
Into a forgiven soul
JUST ON TIME
