Incredible Bapu

Discrimination between the black and white he sought,

Against the British he fought,

He started the non violence flame,

Bapu was his name,

To bring sad faces to smile,

He did salt walk for miles,

With simplicity he use to stay,

He dealt with things in a fair way,

When India was on a verge of ending,

He inspired the Indians with his spiritual thinking,

His works spoke of humanity and of just,

He developed a dignity of trust,

Satyagraha was his freedom policy and rule,

To end up British terrifying rule ,

With fasting day and night,

He brought British army to fright,

His great works have no measures,

He worked hard to protect India's treasure,

Skin,caste, colour,race,

He didn't judge by seeing the face,

He fought with British with harmony,

He hated war on artillery,

He was humble,

So many times people tried to make him stumble,

He didn't do it for popularity sake,

Fight for freedom was not a piece of cake,

His decisions were like fixed stone,

Honesty was in each bone,

Many times he was jailed,

But his aim didn't break which prevailed,

Bapu he was named,

He was not a person to be tamed,

He leads the nation,

He deserved meditation,

He believed in the service of himself,

His deeds were of greatness itself,

He lit the candle of freedom,

He was a man of great wisdom,

He changed the world with his theory,

This is a small part of his great story.
