Perspective Per Se
Perspective Per Se
What appears may not be the one,
You looked for;
And what You looked for,
May not appear as such.
Every breath counts,
And so are the beats of heart;
But hardly it is felt,
Unless they sail apart.
Death acted my lover,
Life being my love;
It ends when we meet,
Amidst an illusion that wove.
Over the grave of my emotions,
You scaffold a sheet of warmth;
That though meant to be cozy,
But was no more to be felt.
The earth got wet,
With drops of my tears;
But there was no scream,
It all vanished in silence.
You defined our bond,
Finding hard to maintain;
All I had is a mirror,
That shared my smiles and tears.
Those tears were unseen,
As if hiding below a blanket;
But they were there,
Waiting for a wipe.
I wished if You could've read,
Those words that hid inside;
But I lost to You,
In your perspective per se.
