Unzip

One dreadful night,

Two gunshots were heard.

Three screams seeped through walls.

Four ran frightened.

Five dropped dead.

Six kept bleeding.

Seven starved in silence.

Eight lost all sanity. 

Nine were beheaded.

Ten were assaulted.

Tens of hundreds suffer each year. 

Tens of thousands pray for justice to come near. 

Tens of millions hope for answers to be clear.

Yet none speaks, for all were silenced by fear.
