Winter

Winter has arrived. The roads are filled with ice blocks. Children sleep under their blankets. I got up a bit late on that day. I was in the preparation of welcoming winter. I was very eager for Christmas. I have invited some of my close buddies to celebrate Christmas. So I am very glad to make the preparations. I am the only daughter in my family. I have three elder brothers. They are married. We make a big family that includes my grandmother too. And finally, Christmas came. My friends arrived. We made a bash. We exchanged gifts. Everybody got gifts except my grandmother. She hid her tears behind a wonderful smile. I went to my room and took a blanket that I had purchased for my grandma. I wrapped her with that blanket and gave her a sweet kiss.

Thus winter has left. I will wait for next Christmas with the same anxiety and eagerness.
