What I learnt during Covid-19
What I learnt during Covid-19
As we know, we, the people of world are suffering from a dangerous disease, Covid-19. To overcome this problem in India, our respected Prime Minister, Mr.Narendra Modi had set up lockdown of 21 days which played a vital role in fighting with this corona virus.
I finished with my Std.IX examination on 9th March. I was very happy as I was getting a lot of time for my hobby. The hobby is nothing but playing cricket. At that time, our area was not having a single patient of Covid-19. Still while playing, as a precaution, I along with my friends was wearing a mask. I was having only one week to utilise the time as my school was about to start on 16th March. So, I relaxed completely in playing outdoor games, watching television, singing different songs. Then, suddenly I heard the news of lockdown for 21 days. I was like oh my God! I literally cried saying I wanted to go out for playing. But, I realised that nothing is in my hands now and it's our social responsibility to follow the rules laid by our government.
Then, I decided to utilise my time in a good manner. I tried to learn academics using online Apps and also I was making my basic concepts of all subjects clear.
Due to lockdown, I was unable to purchase the books of Std.X. Still online Apps helped me a lot in this scenario. But, initially I was little bit afraid of online Apps as I was habitual with my teachers' teaching. Then after 3-4days, I became used to it. As I was unable to go out, I started exercising daily at home at least for 45 minutes. I started this schedule so that I would not feel bored and tired.
As a social responsibility, I recorded the video of protective measures against Covid-19 in these days and shared that on Facebook page of an NGO.
I even cooked food for my family under supervision of my mother. And guess what, my parents loved the items prepared by me.
I was attending my music classes online using zoom cloud meeting. Then, my school also came up with online classes where I was able to see my teachers and my friends. So, I was feeling as if I was at school.
I participated in story and poem reading competition where I had to record an audio and send through whatsApp and also music competition where I had to shoot the video of my singing and share through whatsApp.
I won't be telling you lies. But, I would like to tell you that I was watching television for at least one hour to get the updates about Covid-19 and Kapil Sharma show.
We have passed half milestone of Covid-19. We should obey the rules and regulations laid by the government.
We will definitely come out of this situation soon.
"Stay home. Stay safe."
