Walking Along The Wave

Walking Along The Wave

Thrill in mind and electrifying energy in the body I started for the beach, Chandipur beach. Even after a lot of traveling, I was not tired because I have a special attraction for beaches, the sea, the waves, the sunset. I entered the patch of hard sand. The seawater was at a distance as the tide was yet to come. I walked into the sea and the water was touching just my feet, not above. After a session of photoshoot with friends, I went a little more into the sea. I was alone standing in front of the vast sea and mocking him. "I am superior to you. Very less in size still I am standing proudly in front of you. " I was thinking. I was staring far into the sea. The light of the sun started deeming. My vision was not able to penetrate the foggy hemisphere. Waves after waves were bouncing around my legs. I feel like the sea was hitting me every time with a stronger slap reminding me of the mistakes and agonies of my life. The water level was increasing gradually. I have missed myself completely in the waves and in my thoughts. Suddenly I became conscious when some droplets of the cold seawater were sprinkled on my face after being hit at my knee. Then my steps started marching backward. Those proud dominant steps which were being kissed by the seawater were now escaping eye contact with the waves. "Everyone can walk across me. Can you walk along??? "- The waves challenged me. I accepted. My steps stopped. I waited for a continuous wave. Then I started walking along with the wave. If someone would draw a line along with the wave and along with my footprints the two would be parallel. At a moment the wave became very close to me. I knew I can't maintain the two lines at a parallel anymore. But I didn't come back. I stood steady. The wave was about to strike at me and his intention was evil for me. But my feet were rock steady. Again the wave broke at my feet. Again I was looking at the sea with eyes full of self-confidence. Again I, the tiny one was there standing proudly before the vast sea.
